I bought this GPS for a driving trip from Albany, NY to the Florida Keys. Stopped to visit 8 friends along the way and spent a couple of days each in Savannah and Charleston. I had never used a GPS before.

It did a great job of directing us to our friends' addresses and helped us in sightseeing in Savannah, Charleston and the Keys. I particularly liked the Points of Interest system. Used it to find Forts, and Plantations as well as Wendy's (my wife likes their salads). Also used it to find a seafood restaurant in the middle of nowhere, SC, it was frequented by locals and served pretty good food (this may have been dumb luck, as the system gives no ratings). This part of the GPS was not as intuitive as I would have liked, but once one got used to it, it worked well.

It is difficult to override the anticipatory typing. I wanted an address in Port St. John, FL; the GPS would give me a choice between Port St. Lucie and Port St. Joe. I finally entered the street address and said to search all of FL. It found the address I wanted in Coco Beach, FL.

Other friends were in a new development near Raleigh, NC. It was not on the map. Fortunately, I had written directions and entered an intersection nearby that the GPS knew and followed the written directions from there. By then I had become dependent on the GPS and missed it not telling me where to turn.

In general, a great product and I would buy it again.
