I have used the Garmin nüvi 1390LMT GPS on a trip down the West Coast this week. I have found this to be a very well designed unit. I purchased the gel dashboard mount and really like it. The dashboard mount has been great. Junction view is extraordinary and very helpful. The traffic interface is interesting but not too useful so far. Maybe if I study it more it would be more useful. The speaker phone is not very good with very tinny sound. However, it is better than nothing. The GPS functions have been very good and it is easy to use. I would buy the unit again. It is small, good performance and does what I need it to do.
Garmin nüvi 1390LMT t has not disappointed me. The unit is easy to use and has new features, such as the “lane assist” and “Junction view”, which are very helpful when approaching multiple ramp exits. The speech is clear and concise. The preloaded points of interest are also very helpful. We recently took this GPS with us on vacation in another state and it helped us to find many places local to the area to eat, get gas, etc. I would recommend this particular unit to anyone desiring a GPS.
Bluetooth and Update New Map
The options on this gps all seem to work fine, from the lane change, traffic update, Bluetooth, points of interest, ecco data, local speed posted, red light and speed camera alert plus ease of operation. Garmin nüvi 1390LMT took 1 hour to download and update all the new map data. The new map data is more accurate than any gps I have seen. So far I am very pleased.
