This is my first GPS, although I have used the NUVI 260w previously.
I purhased the 265WT to get the bluetooth capability for hands free calling and to call businesses by choosing the number from the POI.
I took a couple of trips to other states where I have never been and it was great to have a tool that could help me find my hotel and restaurant.
There were a couple of times that we ended up driving in circles trying to find where to go because the map wanted me to continue straight on a dead-end road. Once we headed back the way we came and went a couple of blocks it recalculated a new route. The one interesting thing I found is that if I am in the middle of a call, there are no longer voice directions until I end my call, which forces me to watch the gps screen to see when and where to turn. I have also had a couple of times where the voice was not working until I muted the volume and then unmuted the volume. Overall, I am very happy with this unit but I really have not found the traffic option very useful, even while travelling through Chicago where the gps had us exit the tollway and get back on for seemingly no valid reason.
I wanted you to know that if your eBook would have reached my hands two years ago, then all chances were that me and my husband savings, that we have laboriously saved in the bank for years, were still be in our possession.
