Mapsource update – Why have to do?
Map sources update is very important. The new mapsources will make the latest GPS Navigation Systems can work a maximum of as many additional data and changes data map source. If a GPS Navigation Systems are not always updated or late in the Update, it will impact on the accuracy of the GPS.
Where to get Update ?
To get the GPS map source update, can through the brand’s website, retail shops, or buy the DVD Map sources update. Warning … do not buy DVD’s update Mapsources from not trusted place. Make sure Mapsources update that will be purchased is the original.

Everything works fine, but sometimes it does not take me where I’m supposed to got. You may be on a specific freeway and it will continue to say to get on that same freeway…

I bought this GPS primarily for my first time drive from Michigan to Chicago (I’m from another state). Love the fast calculation of the
driving direction. It lead me to where I need to be in crazy, busy streets of Chicago.
One thing though, it didn’t say nothing about driving the highlighted route while I took a parralel highway. Fortunately, the highway I’m driving later joined the highlighted route.
Nevertheless, it is worth having one.

First I love my new GPS. It even showed an address that Google and Yahoo Maps did not have. But what impressed me most was the technical service from Garmin. I was having problems getting my unit to connect to my computer. I ended calling Garmin Technical Support and we found the cable to connect was not working. Lucky I had another cable from my camera that worked. Once connected, Garmin Tech Support walked me thru all the procedures to allow me the full use of my unit. Thanks again the Garmin Tech Support … You’re the greatest.

Bought it, plugged it in and took off on a 2400 mile round trip. Absolutely no problems. I found it very intuitive as I didn’t even bother to read the manual. I’m sure it does more than I used it for, but as a navigator it was terrific. Glad I paid a little extra to get the voice guidance model – nice to be reminded when turns are coming up. Only complaint is that the price dropped 2 weeks after I bought, but I guess that’s the way it goes with electronics. Highly recommend.

Let me start off with saying that I love this gps. I started reading reviews before I purchased and seen this wasbthe product for me. I am from NYC and recently moved to Orlando Florida. This is my best friend. When I tell you having this gps is the best thing you will love it like how I do. This gps is also great due to the fact it scans local shops in various areas. The favorites make it east to store a location and if you leave your destination it re routes you quickly. Also what I suggest you may want to purchase from garmin is the way finder. Where you can load all your favorites or contact into this software so you have all your information saved. In case your gets droped or accidently erased you have your info stored I love this software. Overall I don’t have any complaints I am in a new city and this gps does not get me lost. Without it I am a fish in a ocean asking for directions. Thanks garmin you saved my life. I recommend this garmin 260w to anyone who does not want to get lost.
